COVID-19/SARS-CoV-2

  • Vaxx stats: 
    • Californians fully vaccinated: 21,651,782 (63.8% of 12+) - 17th among U.S. states, 13.5% above national average
    • Californians partially vaccinated: 3,377,591 (10.0% of 12+) - 10th among U.S. states
    • Californians with no vaccine: 26.2% (of 12+)

  • Positivity rate: The 7-day statewide positivity rate is 6.4%, a 0.6% decrease from seven days ago. In Sacramento, it is 9.5%, a 0.6% increase from 7 days ago. Los Angeles County, meanwhile, mirrors the state number.
  • Hospitalizations: The 14-day statewide hospitalizations average have increased from 1,255.9 on July 1 to 4,772 on August 1 to 6,687 on August 9. This isn't just about more testing.
