Buenos dias! Of course, like most of you, I am exhausted. Of course, I need to look at around twenty state races after last night's filing deadline.

California counties reported 214 more deaths yesterday. That includes people who were going to die anyway from age or accidents, but it is the only metric we have. Of course, it's the best metric.

COVID-19

The numbers: The LATimes tally for yesterday has 214 new deaths and 8,005 new cases. If you find me in a fetal position under my non-existent desk, don't be surprised.

I miss you all!
