¡Buenos dias! I'm in the air on my way to Mexico City. I'm just happy I'm heading south and not to my traditional February destination of DC. Sacramento Intergalactic Airport was crazy this morning from the A terminal, as O'Hare apparently is a no-go because of weather and lots of travelers were flummoxed. Hopefully the community college folks made it to DC for the annual legislative confab.
Anyway, I'll likely have a regular Nooner tonight once I'm in Mexico. After an early flight, I thought I'd have time to write at LAX, but that was before we sat on the tarmac before taking two different buses to get to the international terminal. I think we actually drove to BUR.
Anyway, I'm finally on a plane to CDMX and can't wait to eat and am only paying for one hour of this crappy airborne internet (which likely dies at the border). Did I mention eat? All I know so far is that six days is not enough time to spend eating in the city and I'm looking mostly at street food and holes in the wall.
Cakeday and classifieds after the jump...
CAKEDAY: Happy birthday to Jessica Bartholow, Rafael Elizalde, Gary Link, Patrick Perry, and Lorie Leilani Shelley!
