VISUAL PLEASURE:

  • This Week with Snuffleupagus: House Intel chair Adam Schiff (D-Burbank)

Capitol at Night

I am tired. I was at the crab feed for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation last night with lots of other California political folks. Assemblymember Ken Cooley was there as was Chris Tapio. If you are a newbie, both are bigly staff-level players. Cooley went from being a staffer to chair of Assembly Rules.

The Kings won last night in the Oklahoma town? Are you serious?

My life is huge on charity. I worked at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in the Nineties because I lost so many friends to the disease. Alberto, Renee, and Rebacca, I will never forget you. It was bigly for me last night to eat food for a good cause and it was great to see other California political folks doing the same.

That's it for today. Great life last night with great people with a great cause. Ready for the Oscars tonight. I'm for the Green Book. We'll see how it plays. I need to renew my passport to go to Mexico and watch Roma in the original language. I love the country.

Jessica Patterson won on the first ballot to be the Califonia Republican Part chair this morning. It's not a surpise, but most of us thought it would go to a second ballot. It's a huge loss for Travis Allen.
