Happy Sunday Funday! It'll be a bit toasty here in Sacratomato, so I had t get to farmers' market early.  The freeway series continues today with the A's at the Giants at 1:05 and the Angels v. Dodgers at 1:10. Angels and A's dominated yesterday. While Angels are an embarassment, the Giants are in fourth place--but only 3.5 games out of first. The NL West is just cray-cray.

Of course, the big news comes from Oakland, as the California Democratic Party executive board endorsed Kevin de León over Dianne Feinstein for US Senate.

No endorsement in AD15 (Berkeley) in the general between Jovanka Beckles and Buffy Wicks. Postponed to a regional caucus on July 28.

Like Croatia, I'm tired as I didn't really sleep last night and had farmers' market and the World Cup this morning. I'll make it up tomorrow.

#CAKEDAY: Happy birthday to Asael Sala!
