Well, hello there neighbor! For the Noonerites in SacTown, I hope you're staying cool. It's in the 90s in Washington, DC along with the capital's humidity while immigration protests take place, and appears hot elsewhere where protests take place. CNN reports that fire trucks were spraying water in the air to cool people down. The Sacramento rally is going on at the Capitol as I write, fortunately before it gets too toasty.

Speaking of hot, France showed no cowardice against Argentina this morning, under the lead of 19-year-old Kyllian Mbappe. Of course, Ronaldo is on the pitch as I write.

The first commercial about the Supreme Court vacancy is on the air, from the conservative "Judicial Access Network." Yeah, the name alone should cause shivers, regardless of politics. Yup, a brand new "organization" with no identity of contributors.

Upward Mobility at Cal State LA

Yesterday was a quiet day around the Capitol after the cray-cray Wednesday and Thursday. Thank goodness. It was exhausting.

Anyway, I am exhausted, am trying to cover the immigration protest in Sac. I'll make it up to you!
