Happy Saturday! If you work for Donald Trump, don't take a crap. Shizsnit might just happen, as Rex Tillerson now knows as he got the word of his firing while on the John. It's a reverse LBJ situation.

And what sort of asshole fires a career FBI attorney two days before he's eligible for a federal pension?

That's cruelty beyond belief. I think there's a hell of a retaliation lawsuit that will be worth more than the pension. Of course, would the president actually pay a settlement? As we know, he usually delegates that to his attorney who borrows against his house. That was one of the things we learned the first semester of law school. Don't take out lines of equity to pay off on behalf of a client.

I know people on the inside and they have no idea what's happening.

This is not a partisan rant as it has nothing to do with policy, but the guy is an asshole and we know in politics that there are good guys/women and the other. Chiefs of staff are appointed to their offices to protect employees and other. At the end of the day, as we learned over the last year, the employer is the state or Congress.

HHS secretary Ben Carson and chief of staff John Kelly are both also reportedly on the clock. You can't make this up. Presidents fire appointees and it is their right, but firing a career guy deputy at the FBI because he's participating in the investigation of your alleged unethical/illegal behavior?

But, her emails and his BJ...

I'm wearing my Oregon Ducks sweatshirt this morning and it's not just a nod to my friend Jim Battin. It's the one green sweatshirt I own and, yes, I know they aren't in the Big Dance. Cal State Fullerton looked good yesterday, but certainly not the caliber of the Boilermakers.

If your bracket is not yet broken, you're not a home gamer. This is a year for hamster picks. I just know that PAC12 sucks.

Bicker and Castillo are in top 10, and Fairbacks in lowly 22nd. Me? Yeah, 108th. Adler is 44th and Myers is 105th, so we're all good. I don't know the scoring, but I have zero points. I think we're down to 'zaga and the Wolf-Pack in the PAC-12.

Meanwhile, a camo-painted limo with longhorns on the hood just parked in front of Vallejo's. Yeah, March Madness. It's all in the game, yo'.

I'm busting my butt to update candidate information on ATC. It's not completely possible, as final candidate information vetted by SoS won't be available until March 29. This includes what Tony Mendoza (D) has at a ballot designation in SD32 (Whittier).

This includes signature verification and ballot titles. If you're from Sacto county, don't ask me to sign your nomination papers. I don't sign stuff very more and have no idea what my signature three years ago looks like.

That alone takes a lot of time each morning as I look into my "friends" are political/Capitol folks. Others are those who let me know in the day(s) approaching their big day.
