How does CBD help depression?

Happy humpday. It's the goodbye Rubicon day (for food...beer when the kegs are empty).

I woke up this morning with my laptop (yes, it is my teddy bear). I opened it up to check whether we are in nuclear war with North Korea yet. Hmmm...no Internet. I bleary-eyed stumbled to my living room to reboot my router. Hmmm...the lights on the router didn't turn on. Then I realized that my omnipresent fans weren't running.

Anyway, good job by SMUD in getting the situation affecting 1,500 customers fixed this morning. And, thank goodness the outtage was in the early morning rather than the afternoon.

Thus, we'll be short this morning. While my laptop battery was okay, not knowing when power will be restored is always a great fear. And, my backup--Insight Coffee--was also juice-less.

Upward Mobility at Cal State LA

CA50 (East San Diego County): The LAT's Sarah D. Wire reports that the FBI searched the office of Congressman Duncan Hunter in February to look for illegal campaign spending.

The warrant said agents were looking for evidence relating to whether the GOP representative's campaign funds were used for personal reasons, whether there was a scheme to defraud a bank over video game purchases and whether Hunter's campaign finance reports were falsified to "impede or influence" the FBI or House Ethics Committee inquiries into his use of campaign funds.

#CAKEDAY: Happy birthday to Sean Donahoe and Teresa Stark!
