    Analysis

Congressman Adam Schiff drew a lucky lot in the 2012 redistricting, maintaining his core district in Burbank-Glendale, while picking up Hollywood as a collateral effect of the creation of a Latino district in the San Fernando Valley.

Schiff, who is only 54 and has been in the House since 2001 and is climbing the seniority system. The biggest question may be whether he would be a candidate for U.S. Senate if a seat opens up in 2016 or 2018.
