    Analysis

As the first member of the "class of 12," Rob Bonta is expected to stay put in AD18 through the allowable 12 years, particularly with Sandre Swanson sitting in the wings awaiting Loni Hancock's 2016 term limit in the State Senate. Look for Bonta, who has a Yale law degree and is the first Filipino to be elected to the Assembly, to ascend to Assembly leadership.
