Existing law establishes a Model Cities Coordinator to, among other things, coordinate all state activities in the Model Cities program and a local Model Cities resources board to, among other things, assist Model Cities programs with the design, development, and operation of community projects, provide information to local Model Cities programs about the availability of state and federal assistance, and assist in coordinating the functions of local, state, and federal agencies in Model Cities programs to achieve locally defined objectives.
This bill would repeal those provisions.
